Catamarans are inherently stable and the Zego Sports Boat is a perfect example of the genre. With a low centre of gravity and beautifully balanced, Zego allows you to handle all sea conditions with confidence. The asymmetric hulls are attached to the centre pod and are two-stage adjustable so the trim can be set to suit your body weight and the outboard motor size. With a 1.75 metre width, an adult standing on the front deck has minimal effect on the balance of the boat. This makes the front deck an ideal platform to fish, dive, net setting or retrieval, craypot, duckshoot off or a great space for storage. The hulls of the Zego Sports Boat are made of 8mm thick polyethylene, a particularly tough plastic- type material able to withstand all sorts of abuse. Resistant to salt, weather and osmosis, the delamination that affects many fibreglass boats, and the punctures that affect inflatables, are not an issue with the Zego. The Zego Sports Boat has undergone rigorous swamping tests. The hulls of the Zego Sports Boat are 65% filled with a closed cell foam that does not absorb water. Even if you did manage to puncture a hull, you can be secure in the knowledge that a Zego will get you home safely.
